1921. A complete run, bound in 11 volumes, of the periodical, published under the auspices of the Associazione Artistica fra i Cultori d'Architettura, devoted primarily to recent developments in and historic study of architecture and the decorative arts in Italy and elsewhere, with substantial articles and criticism by many of the major historians and critics of the day, featuring thousands of illustrations after photographs, plans, elevations, and some engravings. Last two volumes with some mild damp-staining along bottom edge. 4to. Half vellum. Some minor soiling. Milan/Rome (Bestetti e Tumminelli) 1921-1931.

The carefully produced, scholarly periodical presents much material on historical Italian architecture as well as documenting many projects undertaken by the Fascist regime, including public buildings, competitions, restorations, proposed monuments, etc. Though the predominance of material is on Italian work, there are articles on recent architecture in the United States and elsewhere in Europe as well. Among the many contributors to the serial are Giovanni Muzio, Roberto Papini, Corrado Ricci, G. Gigioli, Ugo Monneret de Villard, Carlo Cecchelli, et al. There is material on many of the most important architects working in Italy during the 1920's. Book ID: 41381
