The rare periodical provides valuable insight into Catalan society at the beginning of the 20th century, and Catalonia's relationship with the central government in Spain. At times, the Spanish government tried to suppress its publication, citing its satirically subversive nature, and in fact, an issue of a related publication, "Garba", was published as an attempt to disguise Cu-Cut, and it in turn was banned. Very rarely is this serial found complete. Book ID: 41903
