A complete run, in five issues (No. 4/5 being a double issue), of the short-lived avant garde journal (in Italian with some entries in French) concerned with both recent developments in post-war art and literature as well as historical material from the late 19th- and early 20th centuries, with articles and original material by noted cultural figures, illustrated throughout after reproductions of paintings, drawings, page designs, etc. Sm. 8vo. Orig. wrpps., with related illustrations on front covers; the same basic portrait of a man is altered with different graffiti-like additions on the cover of each issue. Some very minor creasing and wear, issue no. 6 with a small tear to spine and pen notation to back cover. Turin 1955-1956.
A very rare journal (as of June 2017 WorldCat locates only three runs in North America) under the editorial direction of Italo Cremona and Mino Maccari. A wide range of figures are covered, including Antoni Gaudi, Victor Hugo, Alberto Martini, Maccari, Yves Tanguy, Huysmans, Vincenzo Ciaffi, et al. Book ID: 47228
