Satiricón is widely considered to be the publication that revolutionized graphic humor and satire in Argentina and created a new form of humor in the press. Its main focus overall was on sex and politics, and during the years of its publication, it suffered several breaks in printing due to censorship. Important writers and illustrators who contributed to the publication included Oskar Blotta, Carlos Duelo Cavero, Landrú, José Miguel Meredia, Flax (Lino Palacio), Leopoldo Durañona, Oski, Calol, Bróccoli, Miguel Brascó, Julio Lagos, Fontanarorosa, Oscar Fernández, Daniel Branca, Carlos Biotta, Andrés Cascioli, Alfredo Grondona White, and Aldo Rivero. Although Satiricón had a large circulation at the time, complete sets today are scarce. Book ID: 48181
