Scattered illustrations throughout from photographs and advertisments. Tabloid. Self-wrpps. Some scattered toning, minor tears, pencil notations, overall very good condition. Palma de Mallorca 1936-1939.

La Última Hora began publication on May 1, 1893, and was an innovator in the incorporation of advertising for commercial purposes and the paying of its editors. In 1895, correspondents from abroad were added to the staff, and more Mallorcan writers were included as collaborators. The name was changed to simply "Última Hora" in 1961, under the direction of Josep Tous Barberán, Ferrer's grandson. Today it is still the newspaper with the greatest circulation in the Balearic Islands. As of February 2018, WorldCat locates only one single holding in the United States.
