A remarkable document chronicling the political and satirical sensibilities of the latter half of World War I, which took its name from the convoys which carried troops to the fronts. A journal was desired "d'indole gaia da diffondere largamente tra i soldati", to help raise morale. Some of the contributors included Antonio Rubino, Aroldo Bonzagni, Enrico Sacchetti, Lieutenant Calza Bini, Captain Umberto Brunelleschi, Lieutenant Giuseppe Mazzoni, and Captain Riccardo Gigante. Scarce institutionally; as of July 2018, World Cat only locates four holdings in North American institutions. Book ID: 48876
