Assortment of elaborate, unique handmade artists’ books incorporating original collage elements with typewritten, mimeographed, and other types of printed texts on a variety of paper stocks and weights, constructed from diverse materials including craft and copier paper, yarn, watercolor, twine, wood, ribbon, fabric, tissue paper, and ink, exemplifying the renowned Cuban bookmaking cooperative’s lyrical and idiosyncratic productions, authors and artists represented include Anna Ajmatova, Enrique Ramos, Digdora Alonso, Rolando Estévez, Fina García Marruz, Cintio Vitier, Hiram Aguiar, Félix Miguel García Pérez, Frank David Valdés, Fayad Jamís, Dulce María Loynaz, Roberto Méndez, Aramís Quintero, Rimbaud, Nancy Morejón, and E. Delahaye. Some titles show slight wear. Sizes and bindings vary, most 8vo. Matanzas, Cuba (Ediciones Vigía) 1987-2008. Most hand-numbered examples from limited editions of 200 copies each.
