Czech sympathies for the Spanish cause were very high - approximately 1500 Czech soldiers fought against General Franco’s army as part of the International Brigades, a group of largely Soviet-mobilized foreign troops that totaled nearly 32,000 members. This pamphlet was published by Senator František Nedv d, one of the founders of the Czech Communist Party and an activist who helped organize the Czech efforts for Spain in the late 1930s. Incredibly scarce; as of December 2018, WorldCat locates only a single holding in a North American institution. Book ID: 48988
