X Motion Picture Magazine. Vol. I, No. 1 (December 1977) through Vol. II, Nos. 4/5/6 (n.d.) (all published).

A complete run of six issues in three volumes of the short-lived collaborative artists' journal of the late 1970's, an important and groundbreaking publication for the cooperative manner in which the issues were produced, with each artist and writer financing and designing their own contributions, resulting in mixed styles of layout, art, and typography, with topics and themes covered including French New Wave cinema, punk music, and the RAF, founded by Betsy Sussler, Eric Mitchell, and Michael McClard. Illustrated profusely throughout. Some toning throughout, some fraying along lower edge of first issue, a few closed tears, scattered chipping. Tabloid. Original illustrated newsprint self-wrpps., each cover featuring a different appropriate image featuring an "X". New York (Published by the contributors under the auspices of Co-Lab [Collaborative Projects Inc.]) 1977-1978.

Contributors to X included Diego Cortez, Terence Severine, Eric Mitchell, Kathy Acker, Michael McClard, Duncan Smith, Betsy Sussler, Jacki Ochs, Mitch Corber, Alan Moore, James Nares, Jimmy de Sana, Arturo Schwarz, Beth B, Tom Otterness, Dorian Brew, Robert Cooney, Nancy Murray, Bruce Wolmer, Terence C.
